Retail industry is undergoing significant disruption and the retail landscape today looks very different from five years ago. On one hand, bricks and mortar retailers are gearing up their online presence to reach consumers across multiple formats. On the other hand, the e-retailers are making significant investments into physical formats such as pop-ups and physical stores to come closer to consumers. Compounding the picture, retail leaders are faced with a competitive labour market and rapidly evolving technology.

Against this background, the Retail Centre of Excellence (RCoE) at SMU is delighted to bring you our first Asia Retail Leaders Conference (ARLC) 2018 – a conference focused on challenges faced by retail leaders in Asia. To be held at the Conrad Hotel, Singapore on 18th & 19th October, ARLC will feature renowned experts from across the globe sharing their insights on topics of relevance to retail leaders, i.e., Brand Management, Omni-channel Marketing, Business Model Innovation, Talent Retention, and Intellectual Property.

The conference aims to provide senior managers in retail an opportunity to interact with and learn from seasoned executives from prominent retailers such as DFS, Alibaba, JD.COM, DHL, Microsoft, Fairprice, TATA group, Yusarn Audrey, and Design Council Singapore.
